Is my Magento version still supported?

Enter your Magento or Adobe Commerce version to see its support status today, how many security patches you are behind and what to do next.

Or pick one:

Support dates from Adobe’s lifecycle policy and released versions pages, checked 1 November 2026. See every date in our Magento release tracker.

How to find your version

  • Admin footer: log in to the admin; the version is shown at the bottom of every page.
  • Command line: run bin/magento --version in the store root.
  • composer.lock: look for magento/product-community-edition or magento/product-enterprise-edition.

Not sure, or running many extensions? We can check the version, patches and extensions for you in a free audit call.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find my Magento version?

In the admin, the version is shown at the bottom of every page (for example “Magento ver. 2.4.7-p4”). Developers can run bin/magento --version on the server, or check the magento/product-community-edition or magento/product-enterprise-edition version in composer.lock.

What is the difference between standard and extended support?

During standard support Adobe ships quality fixes and security patches. During extended support (for some lines) Adobe ships security fixes and compatibility updates only. After that, a line may get isolated security fixes for a limited time, then nothing.

Is it enough to install the latest security patch?

It keeps you safer within your release line, but it does not extend the line’s support dates. Once your line leaves support, the only fix is an upgrade.

Does this apply to Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source?

Yes. Both share the same 2.4.x release lines and the same lifecycle dates. Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service is updated by Adobe and has no version to manage.
